Thanksgiving '08

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We started off the festivities on Wednesday by traveling to Royston to see Grandmama and Papa (they haven't decided on their names quite yet). We also got to see Whitney, Josh, Erin (and baby gurrrlll Hall...due in Feb) and Jeb! It was a lot of fun getting to visit with everyone since we don't get to see each other often!! Mason can't wait to meet his new 1st cousin!!! He has many tricks to teach her!!

After football practice on Thursday, we traveled to Seneca to have Thanksgiving lunch with Papa, Debra, Tricia, Mike, Ashley, Blake, Stephen, Tyler, and Mama Rich. We had lots of yummy food and Mason actually enjoyed eating sweet potatoes, brown rice, squash, and turkey. His favorite was the sweet potatoes and he wanted seconds!! He finished his big lunch off with a bottle of milk!!
For supper, we traveled to Anderson to have dinner with Papa Rich and Molly, Uncle Graham and Karen, and Sandra and Norman Kirsch. It had been almost 6 months since Papa Rich and Molly had seen Mason.....although they said that they don't feel out of the loop since they read my blog!! Mason enjoyed some more table food for dinner and ate (more) sweet potatoes.
I am surprised that he doesn't have an orange glow after all that he ate!!
This was Mason's face (with his tongue stuck out) after he tried the cranberry sauce!!

We have so much to be thankful for in 2008!! It has been a year of many changes and blessings. We do miss our loved ones that were not with us on Thanksgiving this year but we are thankful for the years that we were able to spend with them.
