A trip to the zoo
Last Saturday, we took Mason to the Atlanta Zoo. Our friends, Thomasyne and Benji, and their children, Macey and Kinsleigh, joined in on the fun. Most of the pictures I took ended up being of Mason's back, but I did end up with a few of his face! Mason was more interested in the animals than he was during our last trip. He knew more names of the animals and was able to imitate their sounds. The zoo has a petting area for children to pet the sheep and goats. Mason walked into the petting area but did not want to get close to or pet any of the animals. Actually, a sheep walked right by him and when Mason realized how close it was, he was terrified.....we left the petting area after that. It was a beautiful day to spend at the zoo!
Watching the panda.
Sitting in the birds nest.
Posing with Willie B.
I think this was with the giraffes.....
Pretending to be a bird...
Ben and Mason on the carousel. Mason usually loves the carousel but was very tired at the end of the day and was scared of the bear that he was going to ride. He and Ben ended up riding the peacock :) Our trip to the zoo was a lot of fun. Actually, it was our last outing as a family of three. Later that night, I went into labor......pictures from our latest addition will be posted soon!!

So cute! We're slacker parents and haven't taken our kiddo to the zoo yet. We went to an animal park of sorts but not a actual zoo.
Can't wait to see pics of that new addition!!!
