Snow Much Fun!!

This past Friday, Flowery Branch became a winter wonderland! Although the snow did not come early enough to get us out of school early, we had the rest of the afternoon to play in the 4 or so inches of powder! We have had several days of snow since we have moved to Flowery Branch, but this was by far the most snow at once!

I took several pictures of the house on Saturday morning......

Ben worked very hard on building us a snowman! I hate to say that Mason and I were not much help. I helped with the first part, but got a little tired bending over and shoveling snow. Mason helped for a little while before he lost interest in the snowman and decided to run all through the neighbor's yards!

Mason thought it was so funny when he got hit with snowballs! He loved playing in the snow and kicking his ball through the snow! It was so cute to watch him and his friend, who is about 2 months younger, chase each other through the snow. We have gotten a lot of use out of the snow boots that Mama Rich bought Mason this fall at the Disney Store. They have been perfect for the rainy football games and snow days!

Sugar LOVED the snow. She is an American Eskimo Spitz, but has always lived in either Florida or Georgia. This was her kind of weather and she was so happy running around in the snow! Mason thought Sugar was so funny and he loved chasing her around the yard! We stayed outside for so long that my pictures didn't turn out as well in the dark! After we played in the snow all afternoon, we ate some pizza and watched the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics! It was perfect watching the snow fall on our deck while watching the Olympics! As fast as the snow came, it went away. We had a blast enjoying the weather and spending time together as a family. Hopefully Frosty will visit us again!

Seeing your snowy pictures makes me wish we all lived close to each other so we could play:) I was hoping to see a belly picture. How do you manage to stay out of all the pictures???

Such pretty pictures! I'm glad Mason liked the snow - Bear wasn't so sure, but we definitely didn't have the right gloves and boots for him!
